What should I pack?
Our moto is, “pack only what you can carry and lift.”
We encourage you to pack light and leave some empty space to bring back souvenirs.
Check the weather a few days ahead and the average temperature for the time of your tour.
Make sure you pack a pair of comfy shoes for walking in the vineyards with and a swimsuit for our accommodation pools.
Do I need a VISA?
As many nationalities require different rules, we at WW encourage you to check your passport issued country´s
embassy website for this information. If you do in fact need a VISA to visit Italy, please allow a minimum
4 weeks of processing.
Where do we stay? Do I need to share a room?
We will be staying in boutique hotels, bed & breakfasts, and villas. We like to stay local rather than in better-known chain hotels and resorts.
You will be assigned a roommate/roommates for our stays, but if you would prefer to stay alone we can arrange this at an
extra cost. Please see Single Occupancy only for more information. Don’t worry, you will not be sharing a double
bed with someone you just met. All of our accommodation comes with 2 beds and some with more than 1 bathroom.
How does WW give back?
We pride ourselves on local travel. We hire local experts and drivers to guide us through Tuscany safely.
We stay in locally owned accommodation, encourage to shop from locally owned boutiques and eat in locally
owned restaurants. No stops at H&M or Olive Garden´s on this tour. WW also donates 15% of all tour purchases back to
the community to better thrive Italy. We have eliminated any single-use plastics from our itineraries and encourage our
travelers to also limit their usage. Travel comes with responsibilities. That’s why we’re determined to travel sustainably and consciously.
Will there be Wi-Fi for me to connect with loved ones back home?
Yes, all of or accommodation locations have Wi-Fi for guests to be able to stay updated with friends and family and
post those insta-worthy shots. However, just like anywhere in the world, technology can be tricky and the connection
might become lost or slow. We encourage you to take these moments as a sign to become more present.
What is not included in the price?
Flight arrangements to and from the beginning and end of the tour. Lunches are not included on flexible day nor extra activities, and any miscellaneous items.
What is included is – breakfast, some lunches*, dinner, wine tastings and tours, and accommodation.
Do I arrange the flights myself?
Majority of our travelers book the flights themselves.
We encourage you to try and book a flight which arrives in the afternoon of Day 1, to be able to attend our Welcome dinner in the evening at 19:00. If you are unable arrive before 19:00 on Day 1, you will also have time the next morning to meet everyone during our mingle breakfast.
If this seems to be stressful or you just don’t have the time to book the flights, WW can arrange this for yourself
at an extra cost; please contact us here if you are interested.
Do you plan to extend your trip? We can also help with any travel arrangements before and after the tour up to one week.
Take a day trip to Rome by high-speed train or journey through the canals of Venice, maybe even relax in the Amalfi Coast.
All is easily accessible from Florence.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
All bookings are fully refundable within 48 hours of booking. After 48 hours- 14 days before 50% of the total cost can be refunded. Less than 14 days before the tour -start date is fully non-refundable.
Please check your travelers insurance provider for their terms and conditions.
Do I really need travelers insurance?
All travelers MUST have travels insurance coverage for health, accidental, and repatriation services.
We don’t want to scare you, but accidents happen, and we want you to be able to receive the best care!
Health-coverage, should cover any COVID-19 related issues, even if you are fully vaccinated.
No one wants to plan a trip and then end up staying in quarantine with all the money they were to spend on wine and
souvenirs.
What about COVID-19, do I need to be vaccinated?
While Some countries require immunization to certain diseases as an entry requirement, some immunizations are recommended due to the prevalence of some diseases at your destination.
